Columbia, SC: Robert "Bob" McNair, husband of Janice Suber McNair '59, passed away this evening. Together, the McNairs were generous supporters of the students of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. They provided opportunities that crossed all walks of the student experience through McNair Hall, Janet Alexander Cotter Alumnae Hall, and the Barbara Bush Center for Science & Technology. They also funded the McNair Scholars program as well as the McNair Center from Entrepreneurism. Hundreds of students at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø have had their educational experience enhanced thanks to the McNairs. We are forever grateful.
